Ocean Planet Update:
Wednesday July 20, 2005

Hi folks!

As you may have noticed, I’ve been “under the radar” since our homecoming in Maine on June 3. It has been good to take some time to visit family and friends in the aftermath of the Vendee Globe! One of my stops was the birthplace of Ocean Planet, Schooner Creek Boatworks in Portland, Oregon. Not far from there I found an interesting sign by the road…

Much easier to get this pic than the “other” Cape Horn….;-)

More news soon on future plans, but for now here’s the latest chance to see some of the great videos and pics I have from the race…

News flash!

Huge Lobster Dinner/Vendee Video party at the Osprey Restaurant at Robinhood Marine Center, this Friday, June 22! Sorry for the late notice, but if you are Maine, we hope to see you there! For details call the Osprey at  207-371-2530 .

Over the next few weeks I am in Portland, Maine looking after the boat (much of tomorrow will be spent scrubbing the bottom!). Btw, if you are interested in a personal sailing/navigation/weather seminar on Ocean Planet, or hosting one of my Vendee video/story presentations, contact me at  510-847-9950  or bruce@oceanplanet.org. (A suggested donation applies for seminars or presentations).

Thanks folks, more news soon!
