Ocean Planet in the Around Alone – Update

Hi everyone! Wednesday morning Ocean Planet and I arrived to a beautiful sunny finish in Tauranga NZ to a welcome I will never forget, including an impromptu singing of “The Star Spangled Banner” by some enthusiastic welcomers. I’m very proud to be the skipper of a very original all-American built boat in the Around Alone!
I haven’t slept for more than a total of 30 minutes for the last couple days, so I’m going to hit the sack and will give you more details in the morning . . . hope ya understand.
Actually, I’m so excited by the finish and the welcome that I hope I can fall asleep…
